OPPORTUNITIES
College Readiness Coursework available at no cost
Last week, South Dakota 12th graders received a postcard from Our Dakota Dreams providing information about College Readiness Coursework in math and English. Available at no cost to the student, College Readiness Coursework is designed to help students make a smooth transition to higher education by preparing them for college-level math and English. Students who earned less than a Level 3 on the South Dakota State Assessment are eligible and can avoid remedial coursework at the college level by successfully completing targeted coursework. The effort is a partnership of the DOE, Board of Regents, and Board of Technical Education. Please share this information with your high school counselors and other appropriate staff.

Congratulations to Melanie Kipf, Kennadie Wipf, Katie Wollman, Jayda Thompson, Ellie Kemnitz, Tegan Konold, Katelynn Fjeldheim, Faith Heil, Ellie Jahraus, Shane Henderson, and Greg Kessler on being inducted into the National Honor Society.

Congratulations and best of luck to Mrs. Lindsey Bachman on being a finalist for Teacher of the Year. The video link below is provided by the South Dakota Department of Education. It is posted on their social media outlets.
