Mobridge-Pollock Schools will be closed on March 13th and 14th. The GBB team will play in Spearfish at the State A Tournament against Hamlin at 1:45 MT on March 13th. We hope to have a spirited group of fans in Spearfish to cheer on the Lady Tigers.

The yearbook staff has been working hard to create a book that captures memories from the past school year. Yearbook sales are $50 through April 25th before increasing to $55 through May 23rd. Please view the attached image to learn more about ordering your yearbook.

The MP 5th Grade Class will be hosting a business fair on Friday, April 25th. The business fair will start at 10:30 on Friday morning and run until noon. The event will take place in the MS gym. Please enter through the MS doors.

We will be having a pep rally and send-off for the girl's and boy's basketball teams as the boys play Lennox at Huron on Tuesday, March 11th at 5:30 pm, and the girls travel to the State A Tourney in Spearfish on Thursday, March 13th where they play Hamlin at 1:45 MT. The pep rally will begin at 11:30 am in the high school gym on Tuesday. The public is invited.

Congratulations to the Mobridge-Pollock Boys Basketball team in advancing to the Sodak 16 with a 66-54 win last night against Stanley County. Mobridge-Pollock will play Lennox on Tuesday, March 11th at 5:30 pm in the Huron Arena to advance to State.

Congratulations to Mrs. Amy Larsen on being selected as the Teacher of the Year for the Mobridge-Pollock School District.
Jaelynn Schlomer (Stuart &Tiffany) and Tyler Roebuck (Tim & Tiffany) each received the Golden Ticket award from the Dakota Players for their outstanding acting skills. The Golden Ticket is a $100 scholarship towards a theater camp offered by the Black Hills Playhouse.

The 16th annual SDMEA Elementary Festival Choir event took place at seven sites across South Dakota on Monday, March 3. Nearly 1,000 singers participated in the statewide choral event, which kicked off "Music in Our Schools" month, established in 1973 to showcase the importance of music education in schools.
Mobridge hosted 83 singers from six area schools. The singers rehearsed from 10:00 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. with guest director Cheryl McIntyre and accompanied by pianist Nancy McClellan. Mobridge-Pollock music teacher Lisa Zahn chaired the Mobridge event.
The SDMEA Festival Choir Concert is to be held in Mobridge on Monday, March 3rd. Enjoy area singers in grades 4-6 at the Edge Event Center. The concert begins at 4:00 pm.
