MPHS senior class recently spent a day in Pierre, SD, where they spent time at the Department of Criminal Investigation Center. They were greeted by Attorney General Marty Jackley and received a tour of the building. Following the tour, the seniors
went to the capitol building, where they heard testimony in the Senate State Affairs committee. From there, they met with Stephen Gemar (MPHS graduate), who works in the attorney general's office as an attorney and liaison lobbying state legislature.
The seniors then met with Supreme Court Justice David Gilbertson, who answered their questions and gave them a tour of the Supreme Court.
Students had an opportunity to meet with District 23 Representative Spencer Gosch for a Q&A session.
It was a great day of learning for all students.

Congratulations to all the wrestlers on a great weekend of wrestling. State qualifiers for Mobridge-Pollock are Wyatt Ziegler, Kalib Keller, Dora Bonen, and Brayden Wientjes. The state qualifiers will compete in the state wrestling tournament in Rapid City from February 27th through March 1st.

Cory Greenwood
Speaks - Your Story Matters Assembly
Program Description
Teens struggle to find a sense of
belonging. Now, more than ever, it is
vitally important to empower and
encourage our youth to rise above
their current circumstance. Your
students will leave this assembly with
a renewed self-image and the
resilience to handle adversity and
bullying. They will be empowered to
take responsibility for the solution
instead of focusing on the problem.
If you have any questions or do not want
your student to attend this assembly,
please reach out to Mrs. Bachman or Ms.
Enright.
