My name is Tanya Huber, and I'm excited to be teaching second grade! I was born and raised in Mobridge, then attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. I graduated with degrees in early childhood education and elementary education. After teaching for Head Start for two years, I started my career with this district teaching kindergarten. Over the last twenty-three years I have taught in many positions, and enjoyed and learned so much from each change! Most recently, I taught fourth and fifth grade ELA for several years before moving to second grade.

I am married to Jeremy and have 2 sons. In my spare time, I enjoy reading , cooking, and baking. During the summers we have a big garden, and I find great joy in pickling, canning salsa, and canning jams.
