Hello, my name is Paul Goehring, and I am the Building Trades teacher at Mobridge-Pollock High School.
I have been teaching at Mobridge-Pollock for the past 15 years. Our classes have built many projects within the Mobridge community. I strive to teach students strong work ethic and attention to detail. I feel it is important for students to take pride in their work to get the best results in everything they do. These classes give students an opportunity to leave the classroom and learn life-long skills.
I was born and raised in Herreid, South Dakota and am the youngest of sixteen children. I graduated from Bismarck State College in 1998 with an Applied Associates Degree in Residential Construction. My wife, Candida and I have been married for 22 years, and have three children, Braden, Bryston, and Mariah. Candida has been employed at Mobridge Regional Hospital for 29 years.
Outside of teaching, I have enjoyed being a part of Mobridge-Pollock athletics and watching our student/athletes compete in sports. I like to hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends. Even though I’m not very good at it, I also enjoy golfing at the best golf course around, Oahe Hills Golf Course!!!
