Lori Kuehl

Middle School Special Education

Hello, my name is Lori Kuehl, I am originally from McLaughlin, SD. I am a proud member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. I grew up in the country west of McLaughlin and drove to Mobridge everyday and attended school from 7th grade until graduating from Mobridge High School. I met my husband, Brett at Mobridge High School and we have been married for over 10 years. We have two children and one black Labrador, Mia.

I have been a Special Education Teacher at Mobridge-Pollock Upper Elementary for two years. This year will be my second year teaching Middle School Special Education and looking forward to a new school year. I graduated from Western Governors University and am certified in K-12 Special Education and K-8 Elementary Education.

When school is not in session, I enjoy watching my children compete in football, basketball, and golf. I also enjoy going fishing and camping over the summer months on the beautiful Lake Oahe. I like to go hunting, ice fishing and sledding during the colder months. But my favorite past time is being back in the country with our wild horses.

Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children.
