Hi, my name is Miss LaMont. I am currently in my 22nd year of teaching. Throughout those years, I have taught at both the high school and middle school levels. I currently teach 6-8th grade language arts and a 7th grade robotics class. I enjoy the energy and curiosity of middle school students. Every day is a new adventure in the middle school!

I was raised on a ranch outside of Mobridge. Growing up on the ranch, I learned the values of hard work and responsibility. Along with ranching, my parents both taught in the Mobridge Pollock School District and emphasized the importance of a good education to myself, my siblings, and the many students they taught. After graduating from Mobridge High School, I pursued a teaching degree at Northern State University and graduated with a bachelor's of science in education. I believe in lifelong learning and continue to learn from my life experiences and the people I meet along the way.

When I am not in my classroom, you will find me working on my ranch and enjoying the great outdoors.
