Amy L. Larsen

High School Special Education / Transition

Welcome to the High School Resource Room! My name is Amy Larsen and I am excited for another awesome year!

This is my 20th year teaching and my 16th year with the Mobridge Pollock School District. I previously taught 5th grade in McLaughlin from 2004-2008, then joined the Mobridge Pollock School District as a 5th grade teacher at Beadle Elementary School for only one year before moving into the Resource Room. I then taught in the Mobridge Upper Elementary Resource Room, working with students in grades 3-5, from 2009-2017 at which time I moved to the Mobridge-Pollock High School to become the High School Special Education / Transition teacher at the beginning of the 2017 school year.

I am married to Tony Larsen and we have two children. Tyler is a 2016 Mobridge-Pollock High School graduate and Elsy is currently in the 11th grade. I am a class of 1999 graduate of Mobridge High School and went on to the University of South Dakota, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.

I look forward to working with my students this year and helping them all become successful in working to achieve their future goals!
